A PRAYER FOR SUMMER

Father, Creator of all, thank you for summer.
Thank  you  for  the  warmth  of  the  sun  and  the  increased daylight.
Thank  You  for  the  beauty  I  see  all  around  me  and  for  the opportunity  to  be  outside  and  enjoy  your  creation.
Thank  you  for  the  increased  time  I  have  to  be  with  my friends and family, and  for  the  more  casual  pace  of the summer  season.

Draw me closer to you this summer.
Teach  me  how  I  can  pray  no  matter  where  I  am  or  what  I am  doing. Warm  my  soul  with  the  awareness  of  your presence  and  light  my  path with  your  word  and  counsel.  As  I  enjoy  your  creation,  create  in  me  a pure  heart and  a  hunger  and  a  thirst  for  you.

Amen.

 Wishing you a
safe and restful holiday!

CONSIDER CAMP CARITAS:
A SUMMER SPORTS CAMP
WITH A DIFFERENCE!

This year Camp Caritas marks its 46th season.  Founded and Directed by Father John Baxter, the 2018 camping session runs from July 31st to August 14th.  The two week camping session costs only $500 – and for parents - that is a great value.

Situated on Lac La Belle in the Laurentians, "The Caritas Experience" creates great summer memories for active and sports-minded boys between the ages of 11 and 17.  Caritas is a summer sports camp with a difference – communicating vital human, spiritual and fraternal values leading to long lasting friendships.

Check out the New Camp Video at www.campcaritas.ca and find everything that you need to know about Camp Caritas at this site - as well as a registration form.

Need more information: don’t hesitate to call or email.  Contact Camp Co-Director, Deacon Richard Brisebois, at 514-826-0278 or dcan1000@gmail.com.

Camp Caritas is supported by the Pillars Trust Fund.
